With Derrida you would need to draw comparisons with other films which draw on other 'genre' BUT which are no so keen for you to know what they are doing. Scott Pilgrim bombards you with references, look at Joe Chamberlains essay as he identifies and debates why this is the case.
Again you include a wide range of examples and the correct terminology but that sense of debate is lacking. This is something we will be working on in class.
